If you are looking to purchase a San Diego Condo or Home and you are wanting to own real estate in a more walkable area (i.e. stores, schools, etc within reasonable walking distance) to save cash on gas and be more green… well then, this Walkscore tool is one of the coolest and most useful widgets I’ve seen! Enter your address and up pops a list of walkable public places. WOW! A score will be assigned to the property location that is on a scale from 1 to 100; 100 being the best, or most walkable, score you can get. So San Diego condo and home buyers, check out your property before you buy… I live 3 blocks from my local Ralph’s. And let me tell you, its so nice to stroll out my door and pick up a few things without having to get in my car! And within only a couple of blocks is my favorite coffee shop, dry cleaners, nail salon, cafe, atm…. all without a car! My home received a walkscore of 98! See how your new home would rate!
